Position Overview

Grass Home Ltd is seeking a Special Care Worker to provide essential support in a variety of healthcare settings. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in our care.

Employment Details
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal hygiene and grooming of patients
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Provide meals and assist patients with feeding
  • Support patients with mobility and positioning
  • Facilitate communication between departments by delivering messages and specimens
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms
  • Administer basic medical procedures as required
  • Transport patients safely within the facility
  • Respond to patient calls and assess their needs
  • Collect and handle specimens for testing
  • Provide first aid in emergencies
