Job Title: Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Unionville College: Montessori, Elementary, & Secondary School. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and development of our school's buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Prepare proposals and technical documents for construction projects.
  • Analyze and interpret technical reports and documents.
  • Assist in supervising construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare working drawings and specifications for construction projects.
  • Supervise and mentor architectural technical staff.
  • Write and review technical specifications and reports.
  • Monitor and inspect construction work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects.
  • Construct architectural and display models for presentation and communication purposes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Efficient and organized with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment:

Our school is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be working closely with our design and construction teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
