Job Title: Lead Full Time

Job Description:

As a key member of our Environment team at Ubisoft MTL, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating 3D environments that transport players to immersive worlds. Your expertise as an environmental architect, visual storyteller, and experience creator will bring our game worlds to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Level Designers and Art Directors to understand the game's vision and intentions.
  • Work with other art team Leads and Art Directors to develop the game's artistic direction.
  • Coordinate and motivate level artists to deliver high-quality environments.
  • Balance artistic aspects with technical constraints to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Evaluate integrated work to ensure alignment with artistic direction and animation capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and constructive feedback to maintain a consistent visual style.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in level art, modeling, texturing, lighting, and image processing.
  • Knowledge of 3D software (e.g. 3DS Max or Maya) and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent mentoring, communication, organization, time management, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative, creative, and empathetic spirit.
