Editor and Proofreading Specialist Job Description

BeBee Professionals is seeking an experienced Editor and Proofreading Specialist to join our team in Quebec City. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for editing and proofreading content for various projects, including web content, marketing materials, and other documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Collaborate with writers and designers to ensure content meets brand standards
  • Develop and maintain style guides and content calendars
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in editing and proofreading
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
