Having recently overhauled our legacy Salesforce system, we are now focused on maximizing value through technology while further globalizing our workforce and processes. The business workflows we facilitate through Salesforce encompass a wide range of functions, including Marketing, Sales, Implementations, Account Management, Operations, and Support. We have also rolled out an Omni Channel solution that is vital for our customer interactions, leveraging Service Cloud and set to expand with Service Cloud Voice, Einstein, GPT, and integrations with other key platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Design and Development Oversight: Collaborate with Solution Architects and the Development team to provide comprehensive oversight, guidance, and governance, including frameworks, tools, strategies, and security measures.
  • Salesforce Development: Utilize your expertise to design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business needs. Work closely with stakeholders, including Business Analysts and Product Managers, to convert functional specifications into technical design documents.
  • Transformation Projects: Actively engage in transformational projects aimed at enhancing processes and optimizing Salesforce functionalities. Your ability to pinpoint improvement areas and deliver effective solutions will be essential.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Exhibit a thorough understanding of the SDLC by adhering to best practices throughout the development lifecycle. You will oversee code versioning, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and security of all Salesforce developments.
  • Manage DevOps: Leverage your DevOps expertise to integrate and manage Salesforce deployments within the broader technology landscape. Collaborate with the Development team to streamline deployment processes, automate workflows, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • System Integration: Work alongside other development teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.
  • Technical Support: Provide Level 3 technical support to the L1/L2 support team for more complex issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient project management.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices to proactively suggest enhancements and innovative solutions.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, focusing on customizations and complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in transformational projects, leading technical initiatives, and driving positive change within Salesforce implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, tools, and best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies such as REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
