Internal Audit Manager

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management practices and providing independent assurance over our risk management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of our risk management practices.
- Lead and participate in audit engagements and projects, focusing on Enterprise, Operational, and Capital Risk.
- Assess and report on key and emerging risks, working closely with risk stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Deliver actionable insights to management and supporting functions, leveraging expertise in business strategy to drive ongoing success.
- Collaborate with key partners to improve audit methodologies, approaches, and practices, leveraging analytics, business intelligence, and enabling technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, with a strong understanding of risk governance frameworks for banking organizations.
- Experience drafting and negotiating findings and audit reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
