The ideal candidate will collaborate with the West trading team to create tools, methodologies, and systems for decision-making analysis and reporting within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk assessment models for asset portfolios.
- Collect industry insights and analyze market trends.
- Support trade scheduling and execution processes.
- Conduct price simulations based on fundamental analysis for trading activities.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive executive reports.
- Deliver high-quality analytical reports for internal stakeholders.
- Oversee and validate wholesale power market data.
- Design automation tools to facilitate analysis-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL is preferred.
- Experience with fundamental market simulation tools is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of energy markets and trading instruments is essential.
- Strong skills in spreadsheet management and modeling are necessary.
