Position Overview

Real Flooring Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the installation and maintenance of floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measurement and Preparation: Accurately measure, cut, and secure underlay and padding.
  • Carpet Installation: Measure, cut, and install carpeting on various floor surfaces.
  • Hardwood Flooring: Prepare and install hardwood flooring with precision.
  • Maintenance: Inspect and repair any damaged floor coverings to ensure quality.
  • Installation Preparation: Prepare floors adequately for new installations.
  • Removal: Safely remove existing floor coverings and any contaminants.
  • Direct Installations: Execute direct glue-down carpet installations as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in floor covering installation.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
