Civil Engineering Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at Modair Developments Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of engineering specifications, drawings, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to gather data and information.
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, utilizing your analytical skills to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our design team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Organized and efficient, with a strong work ethic.
