Job Summary:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families by providing expert nursing care, consulting with other healthcare providers, and participating in interdisciplinary teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and advancements in nursing care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
• Participate in hospital committees and teams, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
About this Opportunity:
This is a casual opportunity, which means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary. However, this role offers the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days and nights, and the opportunity to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
What We Offer:
• Competitive hourly wage of $41.42 to $55.91, effective April 1, 2024.
