About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Carl's Jr. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure that all dishes are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of simple food items, such as heating and finishing dishes, and packaging take-out food.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Vegetable and Fruit Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in food preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 44 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
