Project Engineer Position at Atlantica

Atlantica, a leading mechanical and electrical contractor in the Maritimes, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join its team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

As a key member of the team, you will support project managers in the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all aspects of assigned projects, including project planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Provide regular project status reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project services, finance, safety, and estimating teams to ensure project schedule and delivery are on track.
  • Manage change orders, prepare documentation for claims, and ensure accurate and timely progress billing.
  • Collect and format timesheets for payroll and cost control.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree and/or relevant work experience.
  • Drafting experience using Autocad is considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office applications.
