Fairview Immigration Services Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with scanners and other office equipment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and reliable.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
