Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines
  • Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform main component or blade work as required
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background or a wind school certification
  • Agricultural background or work experience is a great transferable avenue to this entry-level service technician position
  • Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO) are an asset
