Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at VP Restaurant and Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a clean and safe environment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
  • Work a 40-hour week, with regular hours and occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Language

English.
