Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and safety are maintained at all times
  • Manage food production and inventory to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Dining Services Coordinator to plan and implement special events and menus
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Services Coordinator
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in food preparation in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • ServSafe Manager Certificate
  • Local Health Department Food Handler Card
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
