Scaffolding Specialist

Job Summary:

Jardeg Construction is seeking a skilled Scaffolding Specialist to join our team at CNRL Wolf Lake in Alberta.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Scaffolder Journeyperson to work on a 6-month temporary position. As a Scaffolding Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, assembling, and dismantling scaffolds to ensure safe and secure access to work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scaffolds to meet site requirements, material specifications, and CSA standards.
• Assemble, dismantle, and modify System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds.
• Practice safe work practices in the industrial environment, including knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments.
• Communicate effectively with staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met.
• Support colleagues and participate in skills transfer.
• Prioritize daily workload and manage materials efficiently.

Requirements:

• SAIA Scaffolder Journeyperson Certificate or Proof of Hours.
• H2S Alive.
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) Certification.
• Common Safety Orientation.
• Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
• Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space.
