A Café Lunette Barista is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, greeting patrons warmly, and expertly preparing a variety of food and beverages. The role requires both independent work and collaboration within a team to ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. Our Baristas take pride in maintaining cleanliness and exhibit a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere through positive guest interactions and adherence to service protocols.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items and café services.
  • Skillfully prepare both hot and cold beverages to established standards.
  • Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale system.
  • Oversee food quality and presentation to meet our high standards.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with their meals and overall service.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the café area, ensuring all spaces are tidy and organized.
  • Adhere to merchandising, stocking, and storage protocols for grab & go products.
  • Be attentive to special requests, including dietary restrictions.
  • Efficiently complete opening, closing, and side duties while prioritizing safety.
  • Follow all food safety regulations and practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a barista role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong focus on cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Genuine passion for customer service.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective organizational skills and sales aptitude.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with guests.
  • Experience in a similar setting is advantageous.
