Job Overview

Graymont Limited is a leading producer of lime and limestone in North America, with a strong commitment to community and environmental responsibility.

Position Summary:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures
  • May be required to operate heavy machinery including trucks, loaders, skid steers, and forklifts
  • Engage in manual bagging and repetitive lifting of bags onto pallets
  • Assist with various manual tasks around the facility as necessary, including cleaning, lubrication, and bagging
  • Work in diverse environments, subject to weather changes and exposure to fine lime/limestone dust (personal protective equipment is provided)

Required Qualifications:

  • Class 1 Driver's License is highly advantageous
  • Possession of a trade qualification is a significant asset
  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Minimum of Grade 12 education
  • Physically capable and willing to work shifts
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, with strong communication abilities
  • Capable of independent thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical skills with proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Mechanical experience is beneficial; must be able to pass an aptitude assessment
  • Previous experience in industrial settings is preferred
