Position Overview

The Meat Packing Supervisor at GT AFRICAN MART plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our meat processing facility. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong background in meat production and supervisory experience.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the meat industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company standards.
  • Advise on personnel decisions including hiring and promotions.
  • Compile and maintain production reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Suggest strategies to enhance productivity and improve product quality.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of team members.
  • Develop methods to achieve work schedules and synchronize activities with other departments.
  • Order and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
