As a Cloud Operations Specialist at LCI Education, your primary focus will be on establishing technical protocols, managing IT infrastructures, particularly within Azure environments, and outlining operational guidelines for cloud services. You will work closely with the global IT infrastructure team, engage in business requirements analysis, and enhance the security of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. A strong command of the Microsoft 365 suite, Azure, scripting languages, and various cloud technologies is crucial, along with the ability to stay abreast of new developments and work independently and proactively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate technical protocols, create documentation, and develop procedures;
- Oversee and maintain LCI's IT infrastructure;
- Manage the Azure environments for the organization;
- Establish operational guidelines for Azure services while optimizing expenditures;
- Collaborate with the Global IT Infrastructure team on various IT initiatives;
- Contribute to the formulation of standards, guidelines, and best practices;
- Serve as the primary resource for cybersecurity and Azure operations within the team;
- Monitor the cybersecurity landscape and address cloud security incidents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365;
- Comprehensive understanding of virtualization and Azure cloud environments, including AAD, VMs, Intune, Defender, DLP, and MCAS;
- Expertise in Azure Front Door;
- Proficient in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, JSON, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure Resource Manager;
- Familiarity with web application security principles;
- Knowledge of cloud access and authentication mechanisms, including RBAC, IAM, IdP, SAML, etc.;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
This position requires interaction with both internal and external stakeholders on a national and international level. Therefore, professional proficiency in English is essential for this role.
