Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Permanent position
  • 30 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
