Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation and strategic decision-making.
- Design and develop information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization and stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure alignment with our goals and objectives.
- Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize their impact.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to ensure quality and security.
- Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Resolve conflict situations and provide staff training to ensure a high-performing team.
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Organize and maintain inventory, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification, Microsoft certified IT professional (MCITP), and Information Systems Professional (ISP) certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Automatic data processing (ADP), Cloud, Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Jira, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Visual Studio, iOS, MAC, Unix, JavaOS, Device drivers, Networking software, Networking hardware, Networking security, Intranet, Internet, Servers, File management software, Security software, Mail server software, Database software, Spreadsheet, MS Office, MS Windows, SQL, Firewall, MS Active Directory, MS Outlook, MS SQL Server.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
