We are seeking a skilled Marble Mason to join our team at Revitastone Design Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, as well as mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
- Mortar Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
- Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
- Tile Alignment: Align and straighten tiles.
- Grout Application: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Tile Repair: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Supervision: Supervise other workers.
- Design and Estimation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs, and estimate costs and materials.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and ability to distinguish between colors.
