Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant is a key member of the Capital Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. This role requires a consultative approach to match customers with the right vehicles, while providing outstanding service and support throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to identify customer needs and preferences
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
  • Work closely with customers to create a personalized vehicle delivery experience
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
  • Prospect for new business opportunities through referrals and other creative approaches
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and techniques
  • Collaborate with the Service Department to support customers' ongoing ownership experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and retention

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Experience with technology and ability to learn new systems
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
