Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineering Intern/Co-Op to join our team at EG&R Engineering PC. As a key member of our software development team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain hands-on experience in software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with software engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate software development processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Contribute to the development of technical documents and reports as needed
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming and scripting languages such as Python, Windows PowerShell, Linux shell script, Perl, Java, JavaScript, and UML
  • Experience with operating systems, databases, cloud computing platforms, web development frameworks, and security technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment
