Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Hamilton Health Sciences, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients. You will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating diagnostic examinations within various modalities and disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform diagnostic examinations, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment.
  • Provide patient care that aligns with the core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Current BCLS registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development.
  • Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Must successfully complete critical practice orientation and core classes.
  • Must successfully complete ECG Rhythm Interpretation.
