We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Happy Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to install drywall sheets and perform other tasks. You will also be exposed to dusty and noisy work sites.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
