We are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Artist to join our team at Company 3 / Method Studios. As a Rigging Artist, you will be responsible for building robust and efficient rigs for our clients.
Main Responsibilities- Design and implement scripted solutions for maximum speed and efficiency of rigging.
- Support all the rigged assets during production.
- Create joints and moving points to rotate and pivot.
- Design, test, and maintain character set ups.
- Work with animators to create user-friendly characters.
- Prior experience from a similar role.
- Strong skills in rigging tools and scripting languages.
- Rigging knowledge in industry production software such as Maya or Houdini.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Python scripting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on inspired leadership.
- A strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision.
- Knowledge of other packages, such as Motion Builder is considered an asset.
- Linux scripting experience is considered an asset.
