About the Role:

The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for booking catering events for our hotel or resort, overseeing all aspects of client liaison, and building new client relationships within the marketplace. This role requires strong business acumen, creativity, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in service-related food and beverage positions, with supervisory and management experience included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Book catering events for the hotel or resort
  • Oversee all aspects of client liaison
  • Build new client relationships within the marketplace
  • Plan all details of an event and manage client requirements
  • Ensure events run smoothly and accounts are kept in order

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience in service-related food and beverage positions
  • Supervisory and management experience included
  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management
  • Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Opera, and Delphi

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food and Beverage knowledge is a plus
  • Works well under pressure and is a team player
