About the Role:

The Valve Assembler will play a critical part in the Operations team at Emerson, supporting our manufacturing operation in a cross-functional setting. This position requires a strong safety mentality, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and build manifolds, valves, and related products to meet quality and production standards.
  • Follow established work instructions and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate product test equipment and power tools, including drills, impact guns, and manual hand tools.
  • Prepare name plates, labels, and documentation as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent post-secondary education required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of assembly and production processes.
