About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2111964 Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that they are fair, equitable, and meet the needs of the business.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Language: English
