Job Title: Department Manager, Plumbing

At RONA, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and ensuring the smooth operation of the plumbing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Manage the daily operations of the plumbing department, including merchandising, replenishment, and promotional activities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction
  • Coach and train employees to improve their performance and skills
  • Participate in the performance assessment process and employee training
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures on loss prevention and health and safety
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
