Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at DASS Enterprises Inc.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for analyzing dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures, developing maintenance standards, schedules, and programs, and investigating mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal system performance
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, reviewing and approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates
  • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity
  • Lead and instruct groups to achieve project objectives
  • Commission systems and components to ensure they meet specifications and are functioning properly
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
