Job Summary

Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Tunnel Excavation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our underground construction team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining tunnel boring machines, ensuring the safe and efficient excavation of tunnels and underground infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain tunnel boring machines, including conducting pre-operational checks and performing minor repairs.
  • Understand and interpret material safety data sheets (MSDS) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in tunnel excavation or underground construction.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Willingness to relocate for the position, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
