Job Title: Platform Engineer - Cloud Security Specialist

ResMed Inc is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer - Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a Platform Engineer - Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud-based platforms for our digital health technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud-based platforms using cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
  • Develop and maintain security frameworks and tools to ensure the secure development and deployment of cloud-based applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to share knowledge and tools for secure coding practices.
  • Assist in the implementation and enhancement of monitoring and automation for incident detection and response.
  • Contribute to ensuring compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of cloud-native technologies, containerized workloads, and an interest in cloud security.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, TypeScript) and a willingness to learn secure coding practices.
  • An eagerness to learn CI/CD automation, including deploying applications and infrastructure.
  • Basic knowledge of network security practices.
  • Awareness of security standards and frameworks such as OWASP ASVS, CVEs, SOC2, and HIPAA.
