Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Pharmacist with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), you will collaborate with both local and international MSF teams to uphold excellent pharmaceutical standards and comply with national regulations. Your role will encompass overseeing the quality, suitability, and efficient management of medical supply chains, which includes the storage, distribution, and procurement of medications and medical supplies. You will evaluate consumption patterns and medical data, providing guidance on local acquisitions, medication disposal, and medical donations. Additionally, you will lead and mentor team members involved in the daily oversight of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

Qualifications

  • Valid and active registration as a pharmacist
  • At least two years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Proficient in supply chain management and inventory control
  • Experience in leading a diverse team (supervision and training)
  • Strong proficiency in English and French (minimum B2 level)
  • Relevant experience in environments similar to MSF's operational contexts (conflict zones, disasters, public health crises, or healthcare exclusion scenarios)
  • Willingness to commit to a duration of six to twelve months

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hospital or remote healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of additional languages (Arabic, Spanish)
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
