Job Summary
Avison Young is seeking a highly skilled Director, Property Tax Services to join our team. As a key member of our Property Tax Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of property assessment and tax analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects and personnel to identify and capitalize on property tax opportunities for clients
- Manage and coordinate the property tax assessment appeal process, providing comprehensive reports to clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, market leaders, and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, bringing new ideas and solutions to the business
- Travel as required to support business needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of experience and education
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as a Bachelor of Commerce or MBA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
