About the Role

Pioneer Cruises is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems on our vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, ensuring all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Start up and test systems for leaks using testing devices, guaranteeing a safe and reliable operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems to optimize performance.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license, as you will be required to transport equipment and tools.
  • Physically demanding role, involving handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be working with complex systems and ensuring accuracy in your work.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and you must be able to work independently and as part of a team. English is the primary language used in the workplace.
