Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Dough Preparation: Create various doughs for breads, pastries, and desserts, following precise recipes and special customer requests.
  • Special Occasion Pastries: Design and prepare custom pastries for events such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for production.
  • Baking: Skillfully bake a variety of doughs and batters to perfection.
  • Staff Training: Educate team members on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety practices.
  • Custom Orders: Accommodate special requests from customers, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Cake Decoration: Frost and embellish cakes and baked items to enhance their visual appeal.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality to maintain our high standards.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Regularly inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and compliance.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize baking machinery effectively and safely.
  • Allergy Considerations: Prepare dishes that cater to customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a baking or pastry role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Availability for 30 to 40 hours per week.
