We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Vans Group Ltd. As a Mechanical Engineer - Projects Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment, conducting research, and supervising installation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design power plants, machines, and equipment, and develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems, and analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
- Project Management: Plan and manage projects, prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
- Quality Assurance: Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems, and investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 32 hours per week.
