Job Title: Financial Services Manager

Kingston Health Sciences Centre is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Kingston General Health Research Institute (KGHRI) to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the KGHRI audit and financial statements preparation, cash management, and fiduciary accountability for donated funds.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes for the KGHRI and other votes and programs.
  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operational issues related to financial functions, including staffing and performance management.
  • Provide oversight of banking functions for the KGHRI and KHSC.
  • Develop and implement best practices for financial reporting and resource management.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in financial management.
  • Proven ability to attend work regularly.
  • Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
Physical Requirements:

The applicant must be able to meet the physical demands of this position.
