Role Overview: As a Senior Technical Artist, you will act as a vital liaison for Outsource teams, facilitating the deployment of tools, creation of assets, adherence to performance budgets, and troubleshooting within Frostbite and our Digital Content Creation (DCC) workflows.

Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with Outsourcing Vendors, Technical Artists, Tools Engineers, and Rendering Engineers to enhance workflows and tools, thereby scaling our asset management and production capabilities.

Integration Support: Assist teams in integrating work from RAW into Source, establishing necessary testing protocols, processes, or tool enhancements.

Pipeline Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to pipelines, workflows, and tools to align with product objectives, ensuring updates enhance efficiency, quality of life, and usability.

Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance and budgets of content produced in partnership with our outsourcing vendors, providing support to identify issues and enhance content efficiency.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge regarding current industry-standard content workflows, tools, and pipelines.

Experience Requirements: You should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Artist, with a proven track record of developing tools and pipelines for at least 1-2 shipped console or PC titles. A solid understanding of architecture for complex tools and pipelines, focusing on user-friendly workflows for content creators (artists/designers) and scalability is essential.

Pipeline Proficiency: Experience with at least one of the following pipelines is required: Environments, Character, Rigging, Animation, or Asset Management. A comprehensive understanding of real-time game content and the requirements for efficiency and high quality is crucial.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages is necessary: Python, C#, or C++.

Artistic Software Knowledge: You should have expert knowledge in various 2D and 3D art packages and workflows, such as Maya, Photoshop, Substance, or Houdini.
