Our client, a leading public sector organization, is seeking a seasoned Senior Special Advisor to provide expertise on a platform migration initiative for a large benefits initiative.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Unisys mainframes (ClearPath, Libra, and Dorado) and a proven track record of advising clients on best practices for platform migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and advice to senior stakeholders on platform migration
  • Lead technical workshops, interact with clients, and present modernization solutions
  • Analyze and adapt existing COBOL applications to the new solution
  • Establish and evaluate methodologies and frameworks for operational readiness and transition enterprise IT projects to IT operations
  • Provide leadership advice for effective stakeholder engagement for IT projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Unisys mainframes (ClearPath, Libra, and Dorado)
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing LINC
  • Extensive experience with Mainframe COBOL
