About the Role

Forter Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Extensions team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and cultivating new products for fraud detection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions for fraud detection
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our platform extensions
  • Work closely with our product group to balance engineering factors with user experience, aesthetics, legal, and financial considerations
  • Develop seamless extensions to enable fast onboarding of merchants to Forter's fraud solutions using popular eCommerce platforms
  • Ensure high-quality code and adhere to our coding standards
Requirements
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience throughout the web development stack and/or backend stacks
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and other web technologies for building web apps and APIs
  • Expertise in server-side development using NodeJS, ORMs, and relational databases
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale environment with multiple modern programming and database querying languages
  • Experience with building low-latency web applications
  • Experience in building cartridges for platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, or Commercetools
