Holcim, a leader in the construction materials industry, is currently in search of a skilled full-time seasonal Scale Operator. This role is essential for managing the daily scale operations at our aggregate facility. Responsibilities include weighing trucks, performing data entry, and delivering exceptional customer service. While prior experience in scaling or the aggregate sector is advantageous, comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
Welcome and assist customers and truck drivers as they arrive at the scale Efficiently process all credit and debit card transactions Provide basic information about available productsOperational Duties
Accurately weigh trucks for both tare and sale purposes, ensuring compliance with legal standards Operate one or more scales as required Enter truck, customer, product, and job details with precision Guide truck movements into the designated areas and relay critical information to the loader Complete necessary ticketing and sales tracking documentation Manage daily paperwork and maintain stock levels in the scale house Ensure cleanliness and organization of the scale house Perform additional tasks as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent knowledge and skills Proficient in computer use, with experience in MS Word and Excel considered a plus Strong communication abilities Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation is essential Capability to sit or stand for extended periods (10+ hours) Previous experience in scaling or the aggregate industry is beneficialCompensation Details
