Job Title: Hardgoods Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hardgoods Associate to join our team at Giant Tiger in Camrose. As a Hardgoods Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including merchandise, promotions, and sales.
  • Restock and replenish merchandise, ensuring a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store fixtures.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs), and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
