About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Best Convenience & Smoke Shop. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Determine staffing requirements and create schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Customer Service and Conflict Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and support.
  • Store Maintenance and Organization: Oversee the maintenance and organization of the store, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
