We are seeking a skilled Rope Access Specialist, Welding Expert to join our team at Stuart Olson. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert oversight, guidance, and coordination in a Petro-Chemical industry setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project documents and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform rope access maneuvers and manage tools and materials
  • Conduct equipment inspections and interpret blueprints
  • Perform welding duties as required and manage rigging tasks

Requirements

  • Valid IRATA certification, mandatory
  • Journeyperson Welder ticket, mandatory
  • Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol testing

Working Conditions

  • Working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Working at heights and in noisy environments
  • Must be clean shaven and wear personal safety equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and climb stairs/ladders regularly
