About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Macleod Thrift Store. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage sales floor operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments, and conducting regular stock takes.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolve customer complaints, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
  • Store Operations: Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and payroll administration.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.

  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
